Terms
The terms of sale set out here apply to goods supplied by Resco Living a brand of Resco (London) Limtied.

By continuing with a purchase it is deemed that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.

You must be 16 years of age or older to order from the website and by accepting these terms and conditions you are confirming this.

Resco Living reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions without notice to you in relation to future sales.

These terms do not create any rights to any parties other than the purchaser.

Orders and Prices
Resco Living use Paypal as their online purchasing system.

Resco Living accepts payment by any of the credit card shown as acceptable on the website at time of purchase.

All prices are shown in UK pounds sterling and are subject to VAT and delivery charges unless otherwise stated. These charges where applicable will be added on confirmation of your address and payment details and prior to the order being placed during the payment process.

The description and price of goods will be as shown on the website at the time you place your order. Every effort will be made to ensure that prices shown on the website are accurate at the time of purchase. If an error is discovered prior to despatch of your order, Resco Living will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order.

When ordering online your order will be sent to Resco Living through Paypal by email. You will also receive an email receipt to confirm Resco Living has received your order. Should you not receive an email or call please phone 020 3405 4860.

Resco Living currently do not have the ability to supply goods to destinations other than the Wandsworth, Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, Ealing and Richmond via the website. If you are shopping from outside these areas, please contact us directly to place your order as terms and conditions, shipping prices and delivery times will differ to those stated on our website. All goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the goods are out of stock, Resco Living will refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you for the unavailable goods.

Resco Living is under no obligation to accept any order.

Payment Security
Resco Living uses Paypal for online payments. Paypal allows us to safely process your credit card payments and complete the financial transactions as securely as possible.

Purchase and Pre Delivery

All items are purchased as seen and displayed in the online store

Delivery


It is your responsibility to make sure the items purchased are suitable and will fit into your property. If we are unable to deliver an item into your home a handling fee of 20% of the full value of your item will be charged. You will be allowed to make an alternative purchase or issued with a credit note. Either way a redelivery fee will be charged on replacement items.

Please ensure someone is available to receive the goods, otherwise they will be returned to the warehouse. In this event, a further attempt at a delivery will only be made on pre-payment of a redelivery charge at the store.

We will endeavour to deliver your goods into the required room provided there is nothing to impede our reasonable clear access. Failing clear access, the goods will be left in the first available space for you to move at your convenience.

If either at delivery or once delivery has been made you change your mind on the items purchased, you have 14 days in which to act. Within 14 days, a 20% handling fee will be applied and the delivery charge will not be refunded. After 14 days, you are not entitled to a refund, an exchange or a credit note.

Please note - Resco Living cannot accept responsibility or liability for any damage, howsoever caused, that may occur to your property as a result of our employees or volunteers moving furniture either within or outside your home. It is an express condition of this agreement that you agree to take full responsibility for any damage and the cost of any resulting repair or replacement.

Post Delivery
All goods should be checked for damage or faults as soon as possible after delivery.

Should you discover a fault with your appliance contact us immediately or as soon as possible.

Privacy
Resco Living does not disclose buyer's information to third parties. Please see our privacy statement for further details.

Guarantee
All appliances have a 3 month guarantee unless otherwise stated on your receipt. If you experience any problems with your appliance contact us immediately. Any attempt to rectify a problem yourselves will result in your guarantee being invalid.

Guidance
1. Electrical appliance items have been PAT tested for safety and basic functioning by a certified and experienced tester. They should be installed by a competent person in accordance with the current IEE regulations.

2. While we cannot guarantee the working life of the appliance, should the appliance fail within the guarantee period, we will endeavour to repair the item or supply a replacement of a similar value free of charge as soon as is practically possible.

3. Washing machines should be run through one of the programmes with a little washing powder but without clothes to ensure it has been installed correctly.

4. Fridges and freezers should be left to stand for 6 hours after delivery before switching on, and run for 24 hours before putting food in. If the appliance has been laid on its side it should be left for 24 hours after transportation before being switched on.

We recommend that customers that customers take advantage of our delivery service, particularly as laying appliances on their side can cause problems and may invalidate our 3 month warranty.

5. Please note that we will not remove your old furniture out of your house, or out of the way, or to re-arrange the house contents. All requests to do this will be politely declined!

6. We are only permitted to install electric cookers, washing machines and dish washers.
